The Riding Stables at Draper Lake

Welcome to our site. Hopefully this will answer any question you may have.

Ages 5 and up cost is $25 per person

Ages 2 thru 4 please call. Any child under the age of 2 can not ride. This is for the safety of the child and adult.

We offer 2 different ride lengths 1 hour and 2 hour. 1 hour rides go throughout the day from 9:30 am until 6:30pm. Although our ride times adjust according to weather so please call to make a reservation.  2 hour rides are our moonlight rides and we only do these on thursdays during certian times of the year. These are from 8pm-10pm around the lake and trails

Riding experience is not a must. We have multiple horses for all levels and ages. We have 1 to 4 wranglers go out at a time with you for a safe guided ride. UN-GUIDED IS NOT A OPTION.

We highly recommend making a reservation. We only have so many horses and it is on a first come first serve. Also if we do not have reservations we may not be at the stables. We take this time to do other needed work. 

Also to book your reservation we take visa, mastercard, and discover. We can charge your card or you can pay cash when you arrive.

If you choose to pay with a card your payment will be processed within 24 hours of your ride. If your card declines we need another form of payment or we will rent your horses to other individuals. 

If you decide to pay cash when you arrive, we have to run a dollar charge to make sure your card is good for us to deny others who are wanting to ride. You also can come and pre-pay also!!

Tuesday thru Friday we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If we do not recieve this notice from you in time you are still responsible for the cost of the reservation you made.

Saturday and Sunday we have to have a 24 hour cancellation notice. If we do not recieve this notice you are still responsible for the cost of the reservation you made.

Also if you have someone in your group cancel on you last minute your still responsible for the cost.

Please understand we do understand emergencies happen and this is left up to the owner of our stables to determine. Just give us call to let us know whats going on.

We strive for everyone to have fun and be safe. We have all different kids of horses. Large, small, painted, solid, etc. PLEASE READ ALL THESE.

1. Wranglers will choose the horse for you...you will not choose the horse...we are around these horses everyday and we know each personality very well. 

2. Yes we do have a weight limit. 270lbs this is safety for you and the horse.

3. If you are pregnant you CAN NOT RIDE....If we ask please dont be offended its a safety thing.

4. If your child is over the age of 5 and they want to ride the horse with a adult as long as a wrangler deems it safe it can be allowed. If the wrangler says no its gonna be a no.

5. NO RUNNING THE HORSES, NO HITTING, SWATTING, POPPING, ETC of any horse. If you run your horse you are responsible to a fine that is determined by the head wrangler for each horse you cause to run. Again this is a safety measure.  If you are caught doing this YOU WILL BE ASKED TO WALK BACK!!!!!.

6. Please read the waiver that you sign!!!!!

MOST IMPORTANT!!!

Please be honest about your riding ability.  This is a estimate on riding ability.

Beginner- 1 to 10 times a yr

Intermediate- 10 to 20 times within a few months

Experience- More then you can count on your hand within a few month.

Please dont try to be a cowboy if your a city slicker this is not safe!!! We want you to be safe and have fun!!
